Preserving Bottles

The use of bottles and jars for preserving food goes back many thousands of years. With the advent of the mason screw top lid this revolutionised the preserving of food. Ball Mason Jars started this worldwide phenomenon way back in 1884 and has now grown into the world’s largest supplier of preserving jars. Fowlers Vacola began producing their jars in Australia in 1915 and also still remain a popular choice in Australia.  Bormioli Rocco jars are imported from Italy and include the Quattro Stagioni range with a one piece reusable lid and the Fido jars with glass lids and a wire bail closure.  We also stock a growing range of reusable bottles with single use twist top lids.
