Hoof Grinding and Cutting Disc Permanent 6 P6 For Electric Grinder
In cattle breeding situations where over-growth is a problem, the usual remedy is removal of the extra horn growth with hoof trimmers and rasps. This cutting and grinding disc will fit onto a normal 115mm portable electric grinder, and are particularly useful when horn is very hard as often occurs in dairy situations.
The ´P6´ is one of Europe´s most widely-used hoof grinding discs. Made in Germany.
High enough quality for the professional, but at an affordable price for the non-professional.
Grinding discs with knives rather than embedded chips cut cleaner, faster and cooler, and have much greater life.
Can be used safely on both the sole, and in the interdigital space.
Geometric layout of cutters gives maximum flexibility of use, cutting wherever it is touching the hoof.
Carbide steel knives should cut up to 1,500 hooves. (Knives are not replaceable: for a disc with replaceable knives see the Professional Hoof Disc)
