Fruit Saver Drawstring Bags are suitable for fruit which is difficult to protect.
Drawstring bags are made of fine but tough mesh and are a simple and organic way to prevent access by fruit fly, codling moth, possums and birds to the fruit or vegetable you want to protect. It also saves having to use chemical sprays.
Drawstring bags can be used to cover clusters of fruit (eg bunches of grapes and small tomatoes) or individual fruit (eg mangoes and larger tomatoes).
If put in place early enough all of these will exclude fruit fly, codling moth and birds.
Medium size is 70cm x 50cm. Also available in small and jumbo (large) sizes.
