Nitrile is a compound rubber material that has significant advantages over latex.
Aside from being generally non allergenic, it also has no memory. So after wearing the gloves for 30 minutes the material adapts to the shape of your hands. Latex gloves just always want to return to their original shape.
This makes nitrile more comfortable to wear particularly if you are wearing them frequently or for long periods.
Nitrile is about 3 times more resistant to punctures and more resistant to a wider range of chemicals than latex.
